NIGHTBOUND

 And here we are again,

at the precise threshold where shadows congeal

and the night stills its breath.

There is no wonder left in our gaze:

we have been waiting for one another

since before memory.

Your summons asks no mercy.

It slips through me like a slow, devouring fever.

I resist,

yet my flesh knows you

long before my will dares to.

We were never torn apart

only bound by an unseen thread

drawn tight in the dark.

The moon stands full,

a pale and pitiless witness to our returns.

It exposes what I have buried

and delivers you to me

like a beautiful damnation.

Your blue eyes,

deep and perilous as midnight waters,

hold me without haste.

Within your smile sleeps a vow

that refuses the shape of words.

My heart slows,

as though it is yielding to fate.

The love I bear is not made of light.

It is gravity.

It drags me inward,

hollows me,

erases my names.

Every adjective shatters,

every word kneels.

I, who once mastered language,

stand silent before you.

Only the pull remains

the dark magnetism,

the forbidden attraction

throbbing beneath the skin.

You, legend wrought of night,

eternal wanderer of my shadows,

marked me without a touch,

wounded me where no armor exists.

I love you profoundly,

even as I attempt escape,

even as I lose myself to the abyss.

For whatever path I choose,

the night will always return me to you.

OUR STORY ENDS WHERE SHADOWS FOLD

Our story ends where shadows fold:

Where the moon bleeds

And silence drapes itself over broken windows.

Within words we never spoke and promises that cracked

Collapsing the reality.

Time bends and fractures like a shattered mirror.

The stars retreat,

And in that infinite dark,

All that remains, is the echo of a story

That never truly belonged to the light.

We are echoes,

Bound to the marrow of the dark,

Our words stitched into the void

Like prayers no god will ever hear.

The shadows fold, and fold again,

Until nothing moves

But the memory of motion.

WE WALK ON THE RUINS OF YESTERDAY

We walk on the ruins of yesterday,

beneath cathedrals shattered by silence.

Ghosts bleed from the broken glasses,

their faces carved in crimson rain.

Shadows kneel like fallen saints,

clutching the dust of forgotten vows.

The angels are hollow statues,

their marble wings cracked and stained.

The never forgotten love burns

like a candle drowning in its own wax.

It drips through the corridors of night,

leaving scars on the stones we tread

and the silence roars where pain screams

We walk with ghosts

through ruins veiled in funeral smoke.

And in the heart of this endless dark,

even hope is a wound that falls apart

and comfort is not

not even in the midst of the lost and found.

REVERBERATIONS

Nothing seems enough

I dream about you, but I aching for more

and the demon inside is reading the epitaph

to be carved on my tombstone as a mantra.

I keep stumbling on the same patterns

struggling with my ghosts

getting lost all over again

in a heart shaped labyrinth.

Nostalgic, or maybe because the moon was full

I tasted the winter and it followed me at home

and now I walk on thin ice

knowing not

when it will crack under me

nor who will grab me when I'm falling

now that I have let you go.

GHOST

I am looking at you form far away

and not feeling you anymore.

You look back at me

but those eyes are from a stranger.

All the tears I have cried

 all the sleepless nights

distorted lullabies buried in too many whys.

And time goes by and purged.

The heart and soul heals

and I now continue my journey alone

but not lonely.

I turn for a moment and

you are like a distorted mirage

under an ash rain

I am hearing the whispers

and all I can see is a phantom

that no longer haunts me.

DARK

It feels that everything, just turn in the other way

Hopes left the place to what I feared most

my heart once fulfilled with love

now bitterly turned to stone.

Signs and synchronicity I cursed

there was a time I  had believed in them

and to heartache is where they had led.

My laughter turned into a grin

my dreams slowly died.

Lights faded away

the darkest hour of the soul was roaring

facing my darkest day.

Ice cold truth, pierced my heart and eyes

the veil fell down

and every joyful memory

became a pain inside.

I looked at you, from within the mirror

and

what the mirror was reflecting

was a stranger I wished I had never known

or loved.

THE DEATH OF A PHOENYX

It's a bitter taste what you gave me

Too many wounds, taste of rust in my mouth.

Too many holes have borne my heart

Too much damage and now,

It hurts every time I breathe.

I took the step with my eyes shut

Like The Fool

And fell down

laughing at the empty space.

I can do nothing now to change it

I shattered myself open

Just to read each of my scars.

There are million ways to die

Mine was a twisted frame

As known as love.

My broken wings, I carry fiercely

They will rise me every time

Once you born Phoenix,

You die Phoenix

reborn from the ashes

to live as stardust.

IMAGINE ME, IMAGINE YOU

A love that is lost

leave the place from another to be found

There are tears

There are fears

There is longing

There is the memory

There is struggle and again fear.

Do you want to stay in this prison forever

locked in this fortress you've build around yourself,

imprisoned?

Self destruction I must say, this too is a choice.

Life is just but a dream within a dream

 running in fast forward mode,

out of our hands in a blink of an eye.

Now, stop and...

imagine me, imagine you

fractions of the eternity.

Imagine you, imagine me

leaves carried around by the wind.

Imagine me, imagine us

butterflies flying from flower to flower

Imagine us...

Landing in the most beautiful one, to die.

TELL ME...

I'm staring in the void

I can't see clear but I feel

I feel you

I don't know why am I crying

I hold on you, at what I believe of us

but I can't hear your voice anymore,

I hear nothing from you, to break this heavy silence

and most of the nights I wake up crying

wondering why, what has happened to us?

I know it wasn't just me the one who felt the pull

For the last two years, you've drifted away from me

blocked somewhere where I cannot reach you the way I used to.

I'm so confused, disenchanted.

Have you left the path?

What's the reason?

Tell me why should I still believe.

STILL WATERS ARE DEEP

I feel the sacred togetherness

but I see estrangement

and everything looks still.

In a world of illusion

you have to believe what you feel

and I feel us.

Flow my child flow a voice echoing

I flew and time went by

and deeper into the oblivion I went.

Believe my child, believe, a voice whispered

still waters run deep.
