FACELESS

The reflection goes by on a mirror

and fall  apart while its surface crackles.

We all had our part in this play

we build lies and start to believe in them

we change masks hoping to stay hidden

until we die.

We re-define the character that fit better

creating an artificial happiness

the fairy tale we almost believe in

only to make the poison of the life less bitter

and the death tread slower.

Drunked on  tears

words came alive on the blurred  screen.

When will we decide to throw away all our  masks

stop playing  roles and be finally FACELESS

trapped in these dreams of  eternal love?
